Target audience for Horror films.

The target audience of horror movies are usually males aged 15-25 who are daring and curious. This audience enjoy this type of film because horror films involve unknowing, naive teenagers as the main protagonists, which are normally the target of serial killers or psychopaths. Women are also a target audience. It is mostly aimed at men as they are more likely to be able to interact with the characters onscreen. Women can itneract with those on screen to but they would tend to react differently. The secondary audience is dating couples. this is more likely to be either very close but not married couples or first date couples.
